It has low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, and is resistant to chemical corrosion. Ceramic fiber tape is commonly used as gasketing, tadpole gaskets, bolt hole tape, or other high temperature seals. It is not adhesive but is a great solution for thermal wrapping of unconventional shapes and parts.
