Phenolic elbows are made of phenolic foam insulation, a high density, closed-cell rigid insulation. Phenolic foam insulation provides moisture resistance, good thermal conductivity, and low flammability. Phenolic elbows are designed to fit various pipe sizes and can be fabricated as Long Radius (LR), Short Radius (SR), or Socket Weld (SW) in 90 and 45 degree angles.
